Marcus and Franklin begin to really work with the Mars Resistance groups, and Franklin gives a big ol’ speech trying to get them on their side. After some bombings earlier that day he also tells them to stop bombings, as it hurts them with people who might otherwise side with them over Clark. He also lets them know that Sheridan will give Mars independence in the event they win out against Clark and EarthGov. Then there are signs that Franklin may be starting a relationship with the leader of the resistance.
Sheridan comes up with a brilliant strategy to fight off the ISN propaganda reports, he wants to create “The Voice of the Resistance”, much like the French had done in World War II. So he taps Ivanova to give reports much like she had done during the Shadow War, only on a much larger scale, in terms of who it reaches. This will probably begin in the coming episodes.
Delenn goes to deal with some issues the Minbari are having between the different castes. The Warrior caste is not helping protect planets that the Religious Caste promised to protect, and now a race called the Drakh, who are revealed to be most likely the Dark Servants that left Z’ha’dum before it exploded. Delenn is able to destroy these ships after she discovers who the y are and after the one Minbari who thought they might be helpful is killed. It is clear things on Minbari need to change, they need a Grey Council again to keep things in line.
Decent episode, though it kind of kept shifting gears. It focused on the Mars stuff for a while, then it was all about the Delenn stuff, with Sheridan’s story mixed in.
