Story: Interludes and Examinations

Sheridan is trying to get other races to align themselves with B5 and help in the war with the Shadows, which is just beginning to really take off. Sheridan decides that the only way to fight the Shadows and to get support is to have the Vorlons show force. Kosh initially refuses to help, but after a long argument (that actually has Kosh get violent with Sheridan), he finally says he will help, but that he will not be with Sheridan when he goes to Z’ha’dum.
Meanwhile Londo is awaiting the arrival of the girl he fell in love with back in season 1, who is coming to the station to see Londo. He also has an exchange with Morden, who is irritated that Londo encouraged Refa to end his alliance with Morden and the Shadows. Morden gets his revenge by having someone poison the young girl Londo loved, and Londo finally turns cold and re-aligns himself with Morden and the Shadows...revenge on the universe for losing the one he loved. Yikes.
The Vorlons do attack the Shadows and kick their ass, several races decide to join up with the cause inspired by the Vorlon win. Unfortunately this comes with a price...Morden hears of the loss and he and the Shadows bereak into Kosh’s quarters...and murder him.
Another small plot involves Franklin, who finally comes to terms with the fact that he not only has a problem with stims, but that the problem may be affecting his position as the Chief Medical Officer. After being yet again confronted by Garibaldi...he realizes that his problem is more severe than he thought. He resigns his position in the end.
A fine episode that furthers events and amps things up in the Shadow war. This is truly and excellent Season.
