Story: Severed Dreams

Woah daddy. Spoilers, as always, be ahead. People are beginning to break ties with President Clark and EarthGov all over the place, and it means major war is breaking out among the humans. Two EarthForce ships with crew that have severed ties with EarthGov make their way to Babylon 5, and EarthForce isn’t far behind to take these ships and Babylon 5 by force. Even though Sheridan hadn’t yet voiced his inevitable break from the Government, they are already planning to replace him and take the station. Sheridan finally takes a stand, and officially breaks ties with EarthGov and condemns the unconstitutional actions taken by Clark.
Delenn learns from a Ranger that the Shadows are moving in on many non-alligned worlds in order to incite war with neighboring worlds. She returns to Minbar to confront the Grey Council and to force them to take a stand no matter the personal cost to herself. She manages to take a few away from the religious caste.
Then all hell breaks loose, battle between the EarthForce and Babylon 5 (and the two renegade ships) breaks out and a pretty great space battle ensues. Things get rough and just when you think things are all lost for the station...Delenn and four Minbar ships show up. It is a pretty badass moment for her, and it ends this episode on quite the high note. Earth Civil war will continue, but Babylon 5 has officially broken ties with Earth. This season has been amazing so far.
