Story: Conflicts of Interest

Garibaldi accepts a job as a bodyguard for a contact of Wade’s coming on the station, after Zack has just come and taken away his identicard, weapon, and communication thing.  The contact ends up being Garibaldi’s ex-girlfriend from Mars that we met back in season 1.  Since her last marriage she has apparently already gotten divorced and remarried, though she hasn’t seen her daughter since the divorce, because all judges on Mars are Earth appointed and favor Earth born over Mars born people.  Anyhow the fact that she has already married (to a millionaire) stings Garibaldi, but he protects her anyhow.  They get into a fight and chase with telepaths.  

Really on the surface it is a fairly straightforward shoot ‘em up kind of episode, but with a little depth regarding Garibaldi’s antagonism to Sheridan and now Zack, as well as his issues with this old flame.  There is a b-plot involving Ivanova trying to get the Voice of the Resistance online with help from Zathras on Epsilon III (though not the same Zathras, there are apparently 10), as well as Sheridan trying to get the Londo and G’Kar to both accept help from the Rangers in order to start an alliance between all the worlds (because if both Centauri and Narn agree, then it must be a good idea).  

Decent episode, not really anything special though.
