Story: Rumors, Bargains and Lies

Sheridan needs to forge a new alliance with the Non-alligned worlds. He had started this effort with his plan to have White Stars patrolling both Narn and Centauri space, thinking that if these two both agreed it was a good idea, then others would follow. But he’s realizing how big a chore it is to always get these people to agree, especially since they always seem to think they can handle problems and fight off the help. So Sheridan devices a new plan. Don’t tell them. Have the ships patrol Centauri space, send some White Star out to shoot some rocks and come home, and when the Non-aligned worlds start picking up on these things ,they believe they need White Stars too, and so when they beg Sheridan, he says yes, as long as they will allow the White Stars to deal with Raiders and that the Non-aligned worlds will also offer their help if needed. Alliance forged, all through letting them come to the decision themselves.
Delenn is still dealing with the growing civil war between castes on Minbar, and she meets with Neroon of the Warrior Caste to discuss a truce. They both agree that neither side can win and that they must find a new way to come together. But the religious caste members on the ship only hear half the story, and believe Delenn will surrender. So they decide to kill everyone on the ship, including themselves, by gas. They only find out they were wrong too late. Luckily Lennier figure out the gas thing and stops it before it kills everyone.
Then while trying to get better, Lennier sees Neroon leave the ship, he tells Delenn, but it is too late...Nerron is in route to Minbar, and he is out to win this war. Decent episode, nice development of storylines with a good twist at the end.
