Lorien

Story: Whatever Happened to Mr. Garibaldi
Written By: J. Michael Straczynski
Season: 4

G’Kar has left Babylon 5 in search of Garibaldi, and is following a trail based on pieces of his Starfury that have been sold.  While talking to a guy who sold the piece, he gets into a minor altercation with the salesman, and is soon into a full blown brawl when Marcus shows up to get his back.  Marcus is essentially there to help G’Kar, but G’Kar asks him to retrun to Babylon 5 and help from there, with B5’s resources.  Soon after...he is captured by the Centauri.  The crazy ass Emperor offers G’Kar to Londo as a gift, but Londo ends up asking the prisonger G’Kar for his help in killing the Emperor.  In payment, G’Kar asks for a free Narn...which Londo promises.
Garibaldi himself turns out to be in a cell, we last saw him being taken away by a Shadow ship...but all is revealed when the angry Garibaldi is gassed and passes out, and in walks a member of PsiCorp.  Looks like their alliance with EarthGov and the Shadows is fianlly leading somewhere.

Delenn is having trouble coping with the loss of Sheridan, whom she loved.  She finally decides to call in all the Rangers and all the White Stars, and decides that they must make an attack now, with those left from the seemingly disbanded League of Non-Aligned World, on Z’ha’dum.  Strike while the enemy seems a little hurt seems like a plan to me.

Then we come to Sheridan in the caves on Z’ha’dum, he discovers with the help of this mysterious man, who calls himself Lorien at one point, that he is in fact dead...or is he?  It turns out Sheridan is probably still mid-falling, being suspended by the help of Lorien, who is in fact THE First One.  Sheridan discovers the only way to live is to choose death (or something mysterious like that) and he decides to fall the rest of the way.  I assume he will make it.

It was a good episode that furthered the storylines that began last episode.  Ready to see how all these things unfold.

NEXT TIME: Zack finds Garibaldi
