Story: Ceremonies of Light and Dark

A decent follow-up to the turning point trilogy that immediately preceded this episode, this story line deals with the repercussions of the events of those episodes. Some rogue Night Watch members who evaded capture after the Battle are planning to take out Delenn, because taking out Sheridan now would make him a martyr. Eventually they capture her and it is a hostage situation before Sheridan and Co. can take them down and save her.
It is kind of a standard action episode, as opposed to the incredible top notch action episode that immediately preceded it. That said, it also has a heart, particularly at the end. The whole episode is supposed to take place around the same time as a Minbari Rebirth Ceremony, in which you confess something that no one knows, and then you are “reborn”. Each member of the command crew goes to the wounded Delenn at MedLab, puts their uniform in a pile and tells her a secret. Sheridan admits his feelings for her have grown stronger than he ever expected, Garibaldi tells her that he is almost always afraid, Ivanova thinks she may have loved Talia, and Franklin admits that he may have a problem.
And as a gift...Delenn gives each of these crew members a new uniform, an they are reborn. It feels almost official that they no longer represent Earth, that they are apart.
