Story: Messages from Earth

Marcus escorts a woman, Dr. Mary Kirkish, onto the station who has info for the Conspiracy of Light folks, Garibaldi invited having witnessed something 7 years prior.  Essentially she is an archeologist who was present on a Mars dig, and unearthed a Shadow ship, another Shadow ship eventually showed up and unearthed the rest of the ship, and both escaped.  Garibaldi was also on Mars at the time and witnessed the Shadow ship as well, not knowing what it was.  It has come to Kirkish’s attention that another Shadow ship has been found, and that Earthforce may be attempting to figure out how to utilize this ship against all other races in the universe.  

Sheridan makes a decision with Delenn to take the White Star into Earth Alliance territory and destroy this uncovered Shadow ship before Earth can use it for bad.  They are eventually successful, but at a cost...President Clark may not know who was in the ship, but he declares Marital Law on Earth, in order to stop any more attacks and in order to end all investigations into his involvement in the President Santiago assassination.  

It’s a great episode that really ramped up the issues that we’ve been dealing with all season, and leaves the story on a solid cliffhanger with the President’s declaration of Martial Law.  Things can only get worse from here.
