Londo's Scheme

Story: And the Rock Cried Out, No Hiding Place
Written By: J. Michael Straczynski
Season: 3

Sheridan has been obsessed in the War Room, trying to figure out what the Shadows have been up to, because their patterns of attack make no sense to him.  Several Earth Religious leaders come to the station, despite the risk it poses for them to come.  Lord Refa also comes with an associate to the Emperor in order to heal the wounds between Refa and Londo’s houses.
Londo schemes to get his revenge on Refa, and in order to prove his house is quite necessary, has Vir tell G’Kar that his former attache Na’Toth is being held in a prison on Narn.  G”Kar has Garibaldi help him sneak back to Narn in order to find her.  Refa discovers this plan and, with the help of a telepath used on Vir, schemes to have himself there to catch G’Kar instead Londo’s people.  But Londo has been scheming deeper than we thought...he used Vir, and had G’Kar help by making him think that Refa was behind the entire Centauri takeover of Narn.  G’Kar then has his people kill Refa on the Narn homeworld, and make it look as if Refa was a traitor, so his entire family would be disgraced and Londo would have no more opposition on Centauri Prime.  Londo’s a real Machiavellian bastard these days.

The Sheridan storyline crosses with the Religious leaders, in that one of them convinces him that he needs a friend in all the responsibility he has taken on in the war, and that he should really talk with Delenn.  He does, they figure out the Shadow’s plans, and are able to have the upper hand for once...and then Delenn takes Sheridan to a major surprise.  The White Star isn’t a one of a kind ship...its the first in a fleet.  They have a real shot now...and Sheridan and Delenn kiss passionately.
