Delenn’s New Role

Story: Grey 17 Is Missing
Written By: J. Michael Straczynski
Season: 3

While Sheridan and others are trying to find as many telepaths as possible to fight the Shadows, Delenn is chosen to replace Sinclair as the new head of the Rangers, but Neroon of the Warrior
caste is not happy about it.  He believes that he is the right choice to take over.  He plans on pretty much murdering Delenn for it.  Overreaction! He comes to B5 and ends up fighting Marcus in order to get to her at the ceremony naming her as the new leader.  But he stops short of killing Marcus, when Marcus calls Valen’s name and says he would die for Delenn.  Neroon realizes that a human is more Minabri than himself, since Neroon was planning to murder another of his own kind.  So Delenn is installed as the new leader with no fight...except for Marcus face/body.
The other storyline involves Garibaldi trying to find a missing floor, finding it, then finding a weirdo cult living there and a man in a rubber monster suit that eats people.  It’s okay, and it was fun to see Robert Englund.

Decent episode with two okay stories, one with lasting implications, the other with none. Neither is terribly exciting, but it is a watchable episode in the end.
