Story: A Tragedy of Telepaths
Written By: J. Michael Straczynski
Season: 5
Londo and G’Kar, still on Centauri Prime, discover that there is still one Narn prisoner being held by the Centauri...Na’Toth. Who the hell is Na’Toth you ask? You don’t remember the very memorable aide G’Kar had briefly in the second season? Seriously, this is really a storyline of closure for those really intense fans who need to know what happens to every character. Na’Toth, like all of the atache/aide characters was essentially there just in case the actors playing the actual ambassadors decided to leave. I expect that Straczynski realized that none of those actors actually wanted to leave the show...and with the cast being so big somebody was bound to just get lost in the shuffle. Lennier and Vir were both interesting, Na’Toth...was not. Therefore she was written out....and now we get some closure for the what happened to the character, as G’Kar and Londo break her off the planet and send her finally home.
On the station. Lochley makes a tough choice, and calls in Bester to take down the telepaths who have barricaded themselves in Brown sector. Bester arrives, some of the telepaths panic and start violence in Byron’s name. Things are heating up, and they are only bound to get worse in the next episode.
Sheridan is also trying to figure out who has been causing the attacks on Alliance member ships. When evidence is found that could explain it, it is soon realized that the evidence is planted and that it is meant to break up the Alliance Members by having them blame each other and go to war. The Drazi have beefed up ships to fight off the Brakiri, but Sheridan dispatches White Stars to keep the peace. The in-fighting is escalating, here’s hoping that the Centauri are discovered as the real attackers soon, before this new alliance breaks down any further.
